BowlingYouth ProgrammingLearn & enjoy the true lifelong sport of bowling! This year will be divided into 2 sessions. Session 1 will run from September-December. Session 2 will run from January-March/April. If there is a no school day, there will be no bowling. Participants can register for 1 or both sessions. Registration fee includes membership into the USBC, a t-shirt, snack, drink and bowling for 11 sessions (10 weeks of learning bowling skills, and week 11 is a fun week). There will be a discount on Session 2 for those who participate in Session 1. Rippleside students will be bussed to Aitkin Lanes. In 5th and 6th grade things start getting a little more competitive and girls can chose to attend Saturday tournaments at nearby schools. Firearms Safety/Marksmanship CourseYouth ProgrammingFirearms safety and marksmanship course designed to provide students 12-18 with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to handle firearms responsibly and effectively. Emphasizing safety above all else, the course introduces proper firearm handling storage, and maintenance while building a strong foundation in marksmanship fundamentals. Students will develop confidence through instruction and practical application ensuring they understand both the technical and ethical responsibilities that come with firearm use. GrandfriendsAge to AgeA program that has been a part of Rippleside for over 25 years, this initiative brings together older adults and 3rd graders in a pen-pal scenario. Each 3rd grader at Rippleside is given the name and address of a "Grandfriend". We will meet at the beginning of the year, and then write letters all school year. Kids ClubKids Club is our before & after school programming that offers a variety of activities for children. At Kids Club we pride ourselves in having fun, learning & exploring. Kids Club is open on days when school is in session for before and after school care. Kids Club is also open during some teacher workshops and conferences for full days. Join us to make new friends, learn new things & have fun! Hours: Before school: 6:45am - 8:05am After School: 3:00-5:30pm Ages: Preschool: 3 years and over attending Jr. Jakes or Jakes preschool School age: K-6th grade students Fee Scale: AM Care: $4/day PM Care: $6/day 1/2 day Preschool care: $15/day - choose if you need morning or afternoon childcare Full day Preschool care Mon/Wed/Fri only) - $35/day Non school day care is available on select days from 6:45am - 5:30pm Fee: $35/day Please register 3 days prior to needing childcare. Open Pickleball 26Adult ProgrammingThroughout the winter months, we open Rippleside in the evenings and weekends to allow for Pickleball play! There is a one-time fee that covers you for the whole winter! Once you register, you will be sent directions on how to get the Playtime Scheduler information. Gym times vary depending on the season and gym availability. This session is for registered community education enrolled players.
